The Deckhouse was the first building of the now three-building property at the Fresh Coast Motel. It was built in the 1940s with additions made over the decades. The most recent update was in the early 2000s when the second story was added to the home. Now, over the winter of 2024, The Deckhouse has been completely revitalized and now offers modern & luxurious amenities and finishes, all while being pet friendly.

The Deckhouse includes specialty amenities like an infrared sauna, two decks with water views, a custom coffee bar, and more.

We Renovated it.

All five bedrooms at the Deckhouse have been completely renovated to bring a fresh vibe to a historic Fish Creek property. We did it all - new LVP flooring throughout, expanding and updating the kitchen with new cabinets and granite countertops while adding a coffee & breakfast bar and stainless steel appliances. The living room was designed and furnished to be the ultimate cozy space for guests to relax and take in the gorgeous views of Fish Creek Harbor.

All four bathrooms have been completely renovated with new custom tile showers and stylish vanities and lighting. An infrared sauna and spa-like amenities were also added on the second floor to further enhance the guest experience and create the ultimate stay in Fish Creek.

The Deckhouse is available for groups of up to ten guests that are looking to experience all of Door County's splendor from an ideal location in the heart of downtown Fish Creek right across from the public beach.
